Purpose of Training:

Pine Castle has designed a comprehensive training program for Direct Care staff. 

We have opened the door to other agencies as a service for providers who do not have access to such trainings. 

In no way does Pine Castle consider this an all inclusive training and encourages staff and providers to use other resources such as the Delmarva Website and APD trainings that are offered and required.

Medication Policy Directive #01-01
 

The medication class offers 8 hours of instruction regarding the Policy Directive #01-01.

The class is designed for those who provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities, living in Group Homes, Supported Living and/or In-Home Support Programs.

This class will provide you with a certificate upon completion stating that you attended the classroom portion.

Successful completion does require a written exam. 

A separate Medication Validation is required depending on the services you provide.  Pine Castle does not currently offer that portion.  Please refer to list of nurses provided by the district for that purpose.

                         Cost:  $40.00

HIV/Infection Control

This is a 4-hour class offered for those who provide services to individuals living in group homes and/or supported living environments.  This class is not intended for those who are nurses or individuals seeking CEU's.

                         Cost:  $20.00
