Celebrating over 50 years of service to individuals with disabilities.

Our Mission - To enrich the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.

Our Vision - A community where adults with developmental disabilities achieve their potential for independence.

Pine Castle began as a school in 1952 to provide special education to children with developmental disabilities. We were founded by concerned parents who wanted their children to have the best possible education and opportunities in life.

Today, we provide services to over 400 adults with developmental disabilities each year. We are one of the largest employers of people with disabilities in the Jacksonville area, and we are a nationally accredited organization.

Pine Castle is located on the Southside of Jacksonville.

Please help our Seniors

Pine Castle's Seniors Day Program is designed to ensure the safety, maintenance of self-care skills, and continued social engagement for our participants. Many of them are faced with significant physical disabilities and health issues, which require more comfortable seating to prevent physical fatigue. If you would like to help make this seating available, please click on the link below.
